I need someone to install 50a service at my house

lol well, since i know nothing, i dont know whats right, so if what i was suggesting was wrong, just say so..... its my grandmothers house, im actually just parking there till i can get to texas, and i figured it would be a good place to put elec outlet for when i come back to visit. ANYways, if 30 is good enough, then 30 is good enough, does that change the price or how its installed? Ill have to get a pic of her breaker box and post i guess.

In that case your talking about a week here or their if she has a range or dryer just have a temporary cord made up.

Check and see if the RV is 30a or if it is 50a, if it is 30a and She does have a dryer outlet, fairly close to where the RV is going to be parked. Just get an extension cord long enough to reach, unplug the dryer and plug up the RV. If You have an RV supply store down that way, They just might have the cords suited for the purpose. If it is 50a, same thing You'd just have to share with the range.

ETA, Granted it wouldn't be as handy as haveing the outlet right there, But, it would be a hell of a lot cheaper.

The RV is 50a capable, and i have a 50 foot 50a extension cord, and i also have a 30-50 adapter as well as a 30 to regular house plug adapter which is how im plugging into the house right now. I will def look into this.

you can use the 30a to house adapter to charge the batteries, and keep the fridge cool, but if you turn on the a/c or washer/dryer it will more than likley pop the breaker, at least mine did.
