POST 10,000
Well the elusive number has finally been reached, I came damn close before the great spammer apocalypse of 2012 caused the crash of the site, the loss of 6 months of data and a few thousand of my posts!
For post 10,000, yes...that is a lot of my life spent here, but worth it, I have learned a great deal, shared a great deal and whored posts even more than that! I join an elite club on this site
today I knew would be the day so I ordered myself a new hunting rifle:
Savage 11 Trophy Hunter XP in .300 Win Mag, Nikon BDC scope on it.
Enjoyed a day with my son, started a Fedex account, enjoyed some time with my Dad as well! Pretty cool having 3 generations of "the boys" all in the same room!Had dinner over there, then came home for the debate!
What I need is some ideas for how to paint my new rifle. I have never painted one of my guns, but as soon as I get this thing I want to get the spray cans out and get it painted. Mostly it will be used for elk hunting, will get used for 4th season cow this year. so, a camo pattern with trees, leaves etc would be more realistic for me.

And for my final tib-bit, we are into the 11th inning of the ALDS between the Yankees and Orioles.
My team the Yankees, because this is post 10,000 are going to pull out a WIN tonight and win the series!
