The factory trigger pull weight on my Saige-12 was 7 lb. 8 oz.. After installing a Tapco Single Hook G2 Sear/Disconnecter/Hammer assembly the Trigger pull dropped to 3 lb. With the Kushnapup stock installed the trigger pull when up to 5 lb, 5 oz. These numbers are the average of 4 readings using a Lyman digital trigger pull gauge.

When I assembled my stock I sprayed the trigger linkage with a drying silicone lube. The stock adds about 1 1/2 pounds of pull to the trigger but that was offset by the 3 pound drop when I installed the Tapco fire control group. The trigger has the feel of a typical Kalashnikov trigger, long with no feel before it lets off. It is smooth and solid with no springiness , jerks or vagueness. The overall results are a solid improvement over the standard Saiga trigger. I am very impressed by the trigger on the Kushnapup.

I have some Saiga / Kushnapup rifles and their triggers have all been the same as the -12.

One of these days I'll have to go shoot them.
