    Default Gemtech Halo

Waiting on stamp for one that I purchased .....was wondering if there are any Halo owners who could post a pic or two mounted to help me wait this stamp thing out. Also wondering if anyone has one mounted on a BC 2.0

We had them at work a couple of years ago (replaced with SF cans). They're not bad. Not great but not bad, especially for their price range. I had one mounted over a BC 2.0 for about six months (before shitcanning the BC and going back to the A2 flash hider).

Staring at pics and watching youtube vids of your new purchase is torture...

Try reloading rounds for yourself bro... it's very therapeutic

On the AR's and other 22 cal i am using A1 f/hiders. On the AK it's a gemtech AK halo mount.

Thanks Jim and Mick....I definitely needed that fix. Mick...How much barrel space do you have on your H&K between the end of your brake and the rail? I like how close you got that to fit. That's what I'm looking to do on an 11.5 and was wondering how much clearence I needed for the collar.

Mick....any reason you pulled your BC off? I was planning on running that setup on 2 rifles.

No space, as long as the f/hider has 1/4" behind the hider to allow the collar to slip over the f/hider. I posted pics in another thread the op asked the same thing.

I covered the issues I had with the battle comp in this thread.

In short, you add a compensator or a break to help control muzzle rise or recoil (respectively). This additional control comes at the expense of additional light/noise. For my purposes, this made the cost of the BC higher than the benefit.

I appreciate all the input gentlemen. Mick, I'm guessing your rifle has a passport. Thanks again.
