    This!

Also, as kids we were told to never talk to strangers, and if a stranger did try and talk to you to find a parent and tell them. Unfortunately the awesomely mediocre parenting skills of the masses these days might actually encourage kids to trust the wrong people or welcome attention from strangers.

Last night while watching Ch9 news, we saw and heard about this alleged attempt and at that time I told the wife that quite often there are two sides to these stories. I had mentioned that the younger teenager COULD have possibly just thrown an object at the vehicle and the driver merely wanted to advise the kid the error of his ways and not even intend to lay a hand on him. Turns out even simpler than that. But, the mom did do the right thing with the cell phone camera just to be safe and sure. A lot of folks are acting with a "hair trigger" response right now and can't blame them one bit.

Looks like the guy was trying to get the kid to help stalk his girlfriend. He was trying to get the kid to knock on a girls door for him.

Edit: what am I saying. Skin them alive and spray them with vinegar.
I'd rather skin them alive and then put them in a tank of alcohol, but vinegar would work. Or gasoline...be a damn shame if there was a stray spark after they got fished out.
