Yes! I'll fire the BBQ to celebrate!

Seriously: what this article shows is the futility and lack of seriousness of both the global warming and non global warming folks.

Ther is simply not enough long term data (statistical sample) to really know what is happening to our planet's weather.

The usual pro comment is: "not true! Ice core sample can go back 200.000 years!"

Yeah: earth is 5 billions years old, so 200k, is not a valid stat sample....

This is what has always bugged me about the global warming alarmists. Even if we had a million years worth of data, that would be like taking the temperature at 7am and then again at 7:30am and claim global warming since it got hotter.

My numbers are just approximates, but you get the idea.

Damage: Global warming has been caused in part by the CO2 emitted by fossil fuels. This image
shows smoke billowing out of a power station
That would actually be water vapor

It is hard to argue that CO2 warms the earth, and we are producing more CO2 than what the earth can stabily handle. Yes the ocean and other tectonic activities produce CO2, but we are throwing off the balance of the earths system.

Not even going to argue this one, but the science behind this is motivated by funding which is granted for political or financial reasons.

We cannot stop or start or even change directions of something as simple as a hurricane, and you seriously believe that we have the ability to alter the long term climate? The Earth could care less that we are here, and will not miss us if we are gone.

I started my college career in Environmental Science and Technology, but I switched to Psychology because the girls were cuter and actually wanted to get a job out of college, and ended up playing with race cars for the last 20 years so I could do my part to help with "global warming" and help people understand why they will never be the next Aryton Senna.

Uh, no it isn't. Lots of data in the last 10 years about CO2 levels rising with either a flat or slightly lower temperature. Bad and hokey science. Global warming = 100% politics, just like global cooling was in the mid 70's.

Walk into a green house someday.

Which one of you guys actually has a Ph.D in climate sciences? Don't get your science data from Fox news or Rush Limbaugh. Go ask a farmer if he thinks is hotter and dryer than before. Did you know the north pole, Antarctica and Greenland are melting?
