Delfuego out!

I actually did nearly get my degree in environmental science, which is a multi-discipline degree involving biology, physics, chemistry, agriculture(pesticides, etc) and was almost done when I switched to Psychology. Additionally, I spent some time working with a company that environmental science, specifically working in industrial and stormwater runoff and treatment.
My conclusion is that we are a bunch of arrogant asses to think we have much more than a clue about how this world works when we barely understand anything.

But lets talk environmental impact for a second-

Oil Spills- nice news articles but do you realize that prior to humans giving a shit and having the ability to do something about it oil literally bubbled to the surface "polluting" large areas of land, and underground faults allowed millions of gallons to escape without anyone noticing beyond "hey, no fish here, time to move before we starve"

Erosion- yeah dont hear about that one anymore. Thats because shocker- we dumbass humans decided we wanted to live in Kansas an Nebraska, and so we planted shit, dug wells, irrigated thousands of acres, and poof- no more dustbowl.

Trees- more exist now than at any previous point in history. Humans care, so we plant the fuck out of them, fight forrest fires, and spend a billion dollars a year in this country alone "saving the forest".

Water- The new oil- going to run out at any time. Wait, cant we make water? Oh yeah, we can. The water shortage is the idiots explanation for how the polar ice caps are melting and yet the sea level is dropping- you can only have it both ways if the water no longer exists. Weird though, as humans are blamed for the consumption of water, because we sweat it out, piss it out, and if we die it evaporates right on out, so the water used by all humans is never really used at all, just borrowed.

I swear, next your going to be telling me the Earth is flat...
