    Default Burris AR-332

Just got a burris ar-332 3x scope and absolutely love the scope. Got it sighted in with 8 or 9 rounds and think the scope is a great bang for the buck. The problem I along with others have had with it is it is a teeney bit off cantor, not so much of a problem to throw it off unless if you are trying to hit something 200 or 300 yards out. In doing some research they say it is because of the cheap chinese made mount they include with the scope and getting a good quality mount resolves the issue.

Soooooooooo am looking for mount options for my rail that won't break the piggy. Looking for some input on some of the options.

The optics etc for this scope at 300 bucks are amazing. One of the better bangs for the bucks I have come across in a long time. So I give the scope big thumbs up and the mount a thumbs down.

Any help would be appreciated and all replies will be looked into. Thx.

I have one, it is pretty cool. I have no issue hitting out to 200-300 yards, other than the reticle is too large for precision shooting. At 100yds the reticle is literally the same size as the bullseye, so its somewhat of a PITA, but I can get reasonable groups out of it. Out at 200yds hitting a 10" round plate is not much of a problem, but again, dont count on a precision shot placement.

I do not have any cant issues, and had not heard that. I believe there can be issues with the way it clamps to the base, which would require minor fitting, but not sure its a reason to replace the mount itself. Have had the scope on three rifles- 5.45x39, .300blk, and 5.56, and it works awesome on all three, very easy to re-zero. Its currently on my 300 blk but will likely move over to the 5.56 m4forgery in the near future.

My 332 is a nice unit especially for the price point , mounted a burris FF on top. Threw a MTAC on the wife's AR. Now she has an optic that allows her to see past 50 yds w/out glasses
My reticule has a slight cant to it, nothing that has any effect on POI.

Jim, did you use the mount that came with the scope or put one of the other mounts on it.. Your right it probably doesn't affect much but it bugs me, should be straight up and down. Thanks my friend.

FWIW: that reticule cant is the scope itself and not the mount. I am using the stock mount and out to 200 no issue. Keeping in mind that is when i actually engage the target. Others have shot the 10.5" and no issues hitting any target.
