It's a damn shame Britain's knife laws don't allow him to carry his traditional blade. That mugger would have been dead. Glad to see it only took the Bobbies 15 minutes to show up.

We did an exchange with the British Paras back in the 90s. At the time, one of the para battalions was a Gurkha BN. I was able to trade for one of their blades which was pretty cool.

The messed up thing was that those dudes had to enlist for 20 years. After 10 years of service, they were able to bring their wives over. The majority worked cleaning the Officers mess/quarters and were pretty much treated like crap.

They were pretty bad-ass little people!

My granddad use to tell me stories how the allied troops used the Ghurkhas during WWII.

They would slip in to an enemy camp and slit a few soldiers throats skipping over every other soldier. Psych warfare in WWII
"The rifle itself has no moral stature, since it has no will of its own. Naturally, it may be used by evil men for evil purposes, but there are more good men than evil, and while the latter cannot be persuaded to the path of righteousness by propaganda, they can certainly be corrected by good men with rifles. --Jeff Cooper"

That knife was already banned, so the best they can do now is to ban Ghurkas and defending yourself.

Light a fire for a man, and he'll be warm for a day, light a man on fire, and he'll be warm for the rest of his life...

Discussion is an exchange of intelligence. Argument is an exchange of
ignorance. Ever found a liberal that you can have a discussion with?
