    Default Small companies are great

After working at two very large financial firms I moved to Denver to start a new job with a much smaller company(6 people) and while it certainly has its ups and downs I love it.

I get to wear more hats so I can really increase my knowledge and experience in a lot of different realms, my ideas matter and take days instead of weeks to get implemented, and I get a behind the scenes look at running a successful business.

Best part: The boss man finally realized how slow Friday afternoons are in a financial firm so I can flex my schedule and leave early every Friday. Now I can finally get around to picking up my CO drivers license, maybe join that new Centennial Gun Club and hit the range before its too crowded, and I'll get a few more trips in because of the early weekend.

I agree. Things happen A LOT faster which can be both good and bad, mostly good. I am never going back to the corporate world. I like my freedom because as an adult I get things done and am able to make a difference.

    Invalid question.. small financial firm.

Congrats! Next thing you know, you'll catch the bug to open your own shop.
