Kinda my thoughts - $16 trillion in debt, closer to 16% unemployment, 4 dead in Libya, foreign policy that is a total failure, Iran close to nuclear capability, Fast and Furious, illegal immigration gone wild, gas $4+ per gallon.

    Yup, lots to laugh about.

Never forget that Obama's first presidential decision was to pick this brain damaged, lying clown as VP.

This is the same clown who, back in the early 1990s, wanted the federal government to prohibit private ownership of ammo cans. Seriously, metal cans with a water resistant gasket . . . he thought it should be a felony for citizens to own one.

I can think of few people I despise as much as that man after watching that debate. For someone as ignorant and blatantly stupid as him to sit there and act like such a pompous douche bag through the entire debate literally brought me to rage. What a piece of crap.

Unfortunately, no link seems to exist. This is not something I read on the internet, but something I witnessed with my own eyes. Senator Joe Biden, live on CSPAN, running his mouth about how citizens should be prohibited from owning semi-automatic rifles. "No-one needs to own an M-16" Biden smirked, a wide mocking grin on his face as he mimicked the recoil of a fully automatic rifle with his hands. I forget all the particulars of what was addressed during that speech, but I recall he touched upon making it a federal crime to engage in "paramilitary training" and wanted anyone who owned 1,000 rounds of ammunition or several hunting rifles and shotguns to need to apply for and be issued a federal "arsenal license." Ammunition cans were specifically addressed.

This was in the news for only about a week before it was quashed. Occurred sometime prior to the passage of the Crime Control Act of 1994, which included the AWB. I recall one of the biggest points of debate about the "arsenal license" provision was that .22 lr ammunition and reloading components should be exempted. Eventually, the Democrats dropped all reference to ammunition (cans, powder, number of bullets, etc).

Here is some data about Biden crafting federal laws, excerpted from wikipedia:

Biden was involved in crafting many federal crime laws. In 1984, he was Democratic floor manager for the successful passage of the Comprehensive Crime Control Act; civil libertarians praised him for modifying some of the Act's provisions, and it was his most important legislative accomplishment at that point in time.[47] He later spearheaded the Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act of 1994, also known as the Biden Crime Law, and the landmark Violence Against Women Act of 1994 (VAWA), which contains a broad array of measures to combat domestic violence and provides billions of dollars in federal funds to address gender-based crimes.
