    Default Trade advice

Should I trade a Taurus PT1911 for a Para Hawg 9mm? The Hawg was said to have 500 rds through it with the proper 300 rd break in. I am just wondering if it was not broke in right would that hurt the gun? Is there anything else I should know before trading. Both guns are in the same cosmetic condition with carry wear. Thanks guys.

Most brands to trade for a Para I'd say no but a Taurus semi-auto? TRADE!

Anytime you can trade a Taurus for anything better, you do it.

But the a**hole in me says, your getting rid of a 45 ACP 1911 style that
honestly has a good reputation even though its made from Taurus for a
silly 9mm cleverly named compact pistol, this is not a deal I would activly persue.

Thats just me. I know in my heart a 9mm is a great round, but my first hand experience
with it makes me wary of ever carrying anything but a caliber in 40.

You know bud- it's not the size or speed of the pill you send downrange, it's if you can hit a soft spot. I love my 9 millies and have no interest in shooting costly 40s.

Para's are like a box o chocolates, you never know what your getting.
They can be a touch cantankerous and Para's CS sucks dawg bawls.
    But they can be overcome.
It will certainly hold value much better than a T brand item.

If there is something wrong with it can you fix it? Like not being broke in properly with the lack of lube they come with new. I believe the instructions say something about not taking it apart for the first 100 rounds. You guys know I like my Taurus pistols, but even I have to wonder why he wants to trade.
