    Yes, but in early 2009 www.whitehouse.gov said that obama thought that bush allowin the awb to expire was scandalous and he sought to re-institute common sense gun legislation banning assault weapons.

    wholesalers stock is a lot lower this morning than it was lastnight when I checked. in less than a week they will be raising their prices that dealers have to pay for guns.

    after hearing both candidates last night i knew my guns were suddenly worth more money.

    Full disclosure: I had been planning this buy for weeks, had nothing to do with the debate. $$ just became available 2 days ago. Didn't quite have enough $$ to buy a case of Federal XM193AF, tho.
