For anyone who was following this thread with any interest there is a new version of the DWS called the PureContact. It's slightly better in just about every way and with a warranty that goes from 50k to 70k it's a pretty impressive improvement on a tire that has already impressed me time and again. If you want more info here's a brief blurb here. For those that don't know the DWS stands for Dry Wet and Snow. This I knew however one thing I learned today that I didn't know was that these three letters are actually cut into the shoulder blocks in the tread of the tire at different depths. As the Snow capability fades the S disappears from the tread. Likewise as the Wet capability fades the W fades from the tread. When the D for Dry fades you will be at the wear bars and it's time to replace the tires. I thought that was pretty cool myself. A little gimmicky but cool nonetheless.

For anyone needing tires (now is the time before the snow/ice moves in) get your best quote in writing and then contact snichols28 above. They will match any price you get from any other tire shop and hook you up with some bonuses (Steve is a caring lover) for giving you their business. He'll make it worth your time, believe you me.
