    Default North shoot location

Hey all, we're going to Estes Park this weekend, and I'm wondering if anyone can give me directions to the North Shoot location near Lyons? Or if there's any other places around Estes Park to shoot? Just me w/ the .45 and the grandkid with his .22, and the wife to watch and whine of course.

    Much appreciated!!!

about 200 yrds east of 72 on 7 You'll see a call box on the south side of the road. the area is straight north of the call box, on the north side There will be a spot big enough for two cars, head up the hill there.

So, if we take 7 out of Estes Park back to Lyons, we'll go right by it, correct?

No, blacktop all the way. You will need a couple of stong legs though.

    Good to know ...

And just as well, as I need to get my hiking legs back under me anyway.

    Thanks.

We popped in there last weekend so the grandson could shoot his .22. A nice place to shoot, but I usually take a lotta crap with me like a table, chairs, sandbags, water-filled cans and plastic bottles, sawhorses & board to put the cans on, plywood to staple targets to, etc. Toting alla that crap in and out of there isn't very appealing to me, think I'll stick with the South location, we can drive right in and setup everything right off the tailgate.
