    Default Front Sight

They are not located in Colorado, but I am a big fan of Front Sight located just outside of Las Vegas.

You have no idea how much you don't know until you take a course there. The instructors are amazing, and no matter what you're skill level they will make you a better shooter.

They offer various levels of classes in...

    Defensive Handgun
    Defensive Shotgun
    Practical Rifle
    Automatic Rifle
    Sub-Machine Gun
    Precision Rifle

    ...and much more.

I am a huge fan...and plug them free of charge.

About 7 of my buddies and I are planning a "guy's vacation" to Vegas this winter. Included will be 2 days at front sight on the Sub-Machine gun. The newbies want to play with the UZIs on full auto. We also have a couple days at the Mario Andretti race car driver course, and several more days dedicated to golfing and the strip. Expensive to be sure, but it is the first time many of us have seen each other since we served together in the military.

    Holy thread resurection Batman!
Ok - I was gonna post this in the newer Front Sight thread - but thought this was a little more appropriate since the other one has another sponsor mentioned...

I just got an email from NAGR - offering the 4 day Defensive Handgun course for 99 bucks:

I just found out about a great opportunity from Front Sight I didn’t want you to miss.
It’s an amazing 40 hours of Front Sight’s world class defensive handgun training for only $99.
Only a company with amazing customer service that brings customers back year after year can offer this kind of training at such a low price so I would be crazy not to tell you about it
You see, I can personally attest that Front Sight is doing firearms training properly, since I’ve been through their training. A number of years ago I flew out to Nevada to take a Front Sight course. I audited his training because Dr. Piazza wanted me to recommend it to my members, and I had to make sure I agreed with his training regimen.
But I’ll tell you that though I went out there on “business," I had a blast (literally) at their facility.
Even more importantly, I needed a brushing up on my skills, and boy, did I get it.
Well, now Front Sight is offering that top-notch training at an incredible price.
I know I had had a great time, all the while working on skills that any citizen who practices self defense must regularly practice.
Please read their offer below and take advantage of it before it is gone.
    Sincerely,

Cost and benefits aside, Dr. Piazza's business reputation (poor), materials (poor) and marketing schemes (insane) would deter me from ever spending a penny there.
Jesus Christ I agree with something you've posted. This must be the end of the intranets.

that front sight guy does have a sweet mustache though, so that pretty much makes him a better shooter!

I dislike talking about other instructors, especially publically however there have been several occasions where students have been shot and some have died as a result of his "rangemasters." There are blood stains still there on the range deck. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE! there should never be an accident like this let alone several. I don't care how cool the training might be, it's not worth risking an injury. We've been through a few classes in our days and worked in many shoothouses and 360 degree live fires. There is always a proper safety plan, pre-qualifications, and low student-instructor ratio. Without these things and proper risk mitigation, it doesn't matter how cheap the classes are, they're unsafe and not woth it.
