My MIL is 425 miles away, and hers is about 2500. Works pretty well all the way around.

Pretty much my wife's favorite saying!!

Both our mother-in-laws are great! It's just funny how the wife acts when my mom comes into town. All she wants to do is smootch the kiddos and help out.

    Better get back to work.

my MIL is GTG. she doesn't bother me at all. We keep to ourselves, take care of our shit, they come over sometimes and play with our son, or he goes over there and things are GTG!

My mom is awesome, sometimes spacey, but does a great job helping out, gets good gifts etc.

My wifes grandma is a saint! she drives to us on the days I am out of town and the wife is working, watches our son all day, doesn't ask for anything in return, just enjoys the time with him! absolutely awesome!
All I have in this world is my balls and my word and I don't break em for no one.

That's how Women are. If my family is coming for dinner we can just throw something together and call it good. If hers is coming its an all out formal deal. Totally different but exactly the same.

My MIL is an absolute psycho. She makes the wierdest stands, and stresses my wife out beyond reason. Glad some of you guys have tolerable ones.

That's pretty much what I have going on. MIL speaks Mandarin, Taiwanese and Spanish. I speak English. We get alone great. Plus she lives in the Dominican Republic so I only see her once every couple years.

Both the Wife and love my Mother, she's awesome. Going over tonight because she mad me a lasagna, which is my favorite food. No complaints about either side.

My MIL passed 4months after we got hitched. She was great. How about father in laws mine traded 4500 rnds of my ammo for zinc copper and some silver... That was the first of 2 trades he did while I was out of town. Though hers isn't much better serving 9 for vehicular homicide. Oh and she likes her MIL.
