Colt AR's tend to hold their value better than most brands regardless of how they're configured. So if you find a Colt for a good price, buy it.

Lol the Colt pony. Yeah, I would more than prefer Colt AR over Bushmaster or Stag...

Over priced for buying a name, it's your money.

If you like it buy it. I just built a rifle with no FA and I love it. It's my favorite out of all my ARs. I've never used the FA on any of my rifles! As stated earlier, if you get a jam dump the round and move on to the next one!

Great rifle, the only inconvenience is that they have non-mil-spec buffer tube, so if you want a custom stock you need to look for the commercial ones. other than that, very smooth action, better than Bushmaster now days IMO.
I was so tempted to get another one from Jensens, but was short on funds. I might wait longer to see if they will make 20 inch ones.

I have one of the dpms sporticle uppers still unfired. While the barrel is not HF like a couple of my others it is just fine for a range toy

In the past, I've needed a forward assist. I was very glad it was there. It was my own stupid fault for needing it; I got caught up in the 'it's a desert environment and you don't want a bunch of lube on your gun' that the Army teaches.

Single scariest moment of my life, but I lived.

The moral of that story is that since then I've kept my duty rifle lubed like a son-of-a-gun. Almost disgustingly dripping wet with lube. I haven't needed one since then, but others have had problems with their rifles. In a pinch, we used diesel engine oil with some ATF mixed in there.

Keep it lubed and it will run.
