    Colt AR's tend to hold their value better than most brands regardless of how they're configured. So if you find a Colt for a good price, buy it.

    (I believe the "Dancing Pony" moniker was first penned by Skeeter Skelton back in the 60s).


    In all seriousness, I wish someone made an AR upper without the forward assist but WITH the ejection port cover.

    Spikes Tactical makes a flat top like you are after. no FA, has the cover and a shell deflector.

    Get a nodak spud retro upper like this NDS-604.

    Now, if you've gotta have the A2 sights and shell deflector, you'll need to hunt down one of these rare, expensive, Colt LMG uppers:
