Minus the fact that it is not Cerebus holdings hackery.
Wyndam Weaponry IS the old Bushmaster, built in Bushies old factory on Bushies old equipment by former Bushy employees.
New Bushies cannot hold a candle to the old ones.

Agree, i've tried the new Busy, the action feels sloppy.

Keep it lubed and it will run.
As long as you keep it dripping wet like stated above, and with ammo manufactures producing consistent quality ammo I haven't had to use one in the last 25000 rounds.
On a qual range you do need to tap it to score an aliaby or a reshoot but it's not needed

It was not due to the rifle, it was due to a decision by a pollytickian to save money.
Defense Secretary Robert McNamera(sp) decided to:
1-change the powder specifications to use surplus powder from the Korea era. The stick powder that was originally spec'd out was fairly clean burning but the ball powder that it was changed to fouled horribly.
2-not issue cleaning kits. It was claimed that the rifle was "self cleaning".

The forward assist was added as a "fail safe".
My preference of 20 inch full length has a lot to do with the way they look.

No, I want one with no FA but WITH the ejection port cover.
