The trouble is there is usually enough people on the twisties that you can't really relax and enjoy them. That there are too many blind corners.

too bad for this guy and his family. definitely a stupid decision that cost him his life. I highly doubt a helmet would have saved him in this case.

I am another pro-helmet person. My uncle died after hitting a dog while riding his 4 wheeler home and landed on his head. a helmet would have saved his life.

But just like seatbelts, I don't think it should be a law. personal choice, you know the risk, you reap the reward.
All I have in this world is my balls and my word and I don't break em for no one.

Funny harley guys dont wear helmets and gear. I ride dualsport bike and wear helmet riding boots and other gear depending on trip. Its saved my skin a few times going down st liw speeds. Watched buddy slide out in corner one time and slide down rd on face shield and stomach got up no prob. Without jacket full face and riding pants coulda been skin grafting fun. . Friends from sdthat ride hogs dont wear helmets or gear. I think for purely tough guy looks only. Look at sturgis how many helmets and aerostich riding jackets u see?

Im at about 80% back from being injured. No broken bones...just banged up really bad and
ligament issues. Im itching to get back and ride. It was his fault and thats one of
the risks we take when we ride. That risk is the other drivers and their negligence.
This guy took his own life into his hands, he made decisions that can not be reversed.
Faulting someone for not wearing a helmet or whatever is BS. They chose to
not wear this or that and they are then accepting the consequences of their decisions.
Darwin definatly won on this and I feel for the family of the rider and I feel for
    the people in the vehicle.
That sucks man, but glad you're on the mend. What became of the road rage guy?
