    Default Taiwan

So I've been preparing and now the flight is just days away and I totally forgot the diverse group here may have some experience in country. Any suggestions on must see things/bars/etc. Anything cool I should bring back? (Was thinking with no guns, I know they have a big airsoft thing, maybe they have some nice crossbows/compounds.)

I'll be there for 10 days, first day or two is my friend here on the board's wedding, then basically a fairly strict tour by him and the wifey around the island with the last few days back in Taipei. So far I've requested $400 converted for spending $ and fear I'll want to blow more.

    Foot massage
Stinky tofu at the Night Market
    Top of the 101

Can't think of any cool bars - I'm too old for that scene, man.

Yeah, I'm looking forward to a few good massages for sure. (Not the happy ending kind or at least not that I'd admit.)

    Boba.
When Boba tea shop was getting popular in US around 2000, Taiwanese business owners were brining bucket of boba from Taiwan to Los Angeles.

Yeah I like the boba place in Denver near Federal or 6th? There was one in Fort Collins but I think I was the only customer. Never saw another. It closed.

Think Food was a foregone conclusion. Just hoping to avoid enough of the raw gross water critters and double down on all the other tasty meat products.

There are plenty of deep fried stinky tofu in Chinese joints in Denver area. You just have specify hongkong or taiwanese style.

My inlaws+ wife & kids and sister in laws family all went to Japan and south Korea for vacation last month.
Wife said of was one of the best.vacation ever.
It is always best to buy item ( where you are going) that we do not have here. of course it has to clear customs.
I asked my wife to buy 100 patches of ketoprofen topical NSAID patch.
