    Default CO AR-15 Happy Hour

Okay, sort of a feeler. I run a wine bar in LODO. We have been doing a lot of business lately with lib groups; art shows, etc. ever since the convention was here. I could offer some sort of extended happy hour if we could put some sort of group together to meet here one night, maybe to meet all of these people in person that we have all been corresponding wth online for years. Call it a tea party (the more the better), a screw the antis party, or whatever. We could be as vocal or as low key as you want. Any interest? Any night of the week, Tues-Sat

Parking is my problem I am not going to pay ten bucks to park for 2 hours. I think it is a great idea but lodo sucks in my opinion last time I went to lodo a a**hole cop went down the line puting tickets on bikes I got on mine and left before he got to me never went back.

I would come but there best be parking and not for ten dollars so I can drink 2 sodas.

I can tell you where to park for a reasonable charge. I know lodo can be a pain in the ass, I am just sick of seing one prominent lib group after another come through. We are loosing this fight and I am starting to wonder if this is why... we all hang out in our basements reloading, maybe bump into each other at a match once in a while (at least this is what I am doing), and they are out doing all sorts of things that attract attention and get people talking.

Hey, my bar is just an idea because I see so many of the enemy coming through here. It has become a fairly prominent stomping ground for these events. If parking is a deal breaker lets meet in the burbs somewhere. The left has the reputation for being better at "grassroots efforts". These efforts, as I am seeing, take the form of all sorts of events which are seemingly unrelated to politics. And I don't think that parking is standing in thier way.

    Any ideas?

I'm all for a happy hour of AR owners in the burbs. Any pub recommendations?

I'd be down for this...depending on the time of day and which day, people could park at any of the Lightrail stations like I-25 and Broadway, and catch the train...cost a couple bucks each way, but its still cheaper than parking downtown...

    Where is your place, nontactical?

There are all sorts of unsavory elements that ooze out of the sewer after dark in LODO. Having to put a bullet in one of them on the way back to a $5 an hour parking lot would qualify as a deal breaker for me. I like the idea of a meet'n'greet, though.
