I love soccer

I have always enjoyed college football, but jeeze soccer is growing on me fast. All weekend I watch Barclays league and Liga league re-runs, and love Lionel Messi. All I could think about is how In the hell do you stop this phenom? No one seems to be able to.

I think soccer takes more preparation, finesse, athleticism, then any other sport in the world. Guys like Messi and Rolnaldo are the best athletes in the world.

That has to be a joke, right? (For reference and because I don't want to hear all you soccer fans bitch and moan, I played soccer for two years in my youth before selecting sports I actually wanted to stick with.) I'm not saying these people aren't talented, they are professional athletes which puts them at a higher level, it takes skill and dedication to play at the professional level in ANY sport. But to say they are more athletic or prepared than any other athlete in the world, just because you like to watch them, might be the most ridiculous thing I have ever read.

Between professional hockey players or pro lacrosse for that matter soccer players are spoiled little cry-babys. Especially Cristiano Ronaldo he only even plays 1/2 the time and flops around holding his shin if someone takes the ball from him.

Ever watched Didier Drogba? He is twice the pure athlete than either of those two.

My 9 year old son decided he wanted to play soccer this year. It's growing on me as well.
