Default need date night idea for tonight

Finally getting a night out for just me and my wife, was going to take her up to blackhawk and get a room, but they want $240....no thanks.

I'm short on ideas, no sporting events in town, can always do dinner and a movie I guess.

    anyone got any ideas?

I usually take the wife to dinner and then get a room downtown and go hit a few bars
and talk and hanve a good time at cool bars. Then go back and relax at the hotel room.

We usually spend $75-$150 on a nice room.

This is all downtown so we can walk to where ever we want and get back to hotel without driving.

The promenade in westminster is nice for this also, good resturants, decent bars, movies, improv comedy, kickass hotel.

Where in blackhawk? Last time I went to ameristar I got a room for $90. Like RCC said, the Westminster promenade is a good area to catch a few drinks at Bar Louie, Dave and Busters, Club Sheer (Que Bueno), or Benders.

I'll probably end up at Benders for a drink with the lady and a friend tonight.

What about going to a haunted house or a corn maze? Bars downtown? Comedy Works?
