IMHO without a given commitment such as "I will take it" then yes, the N feedback is not appropriate.
I will agree a touch of decency and courtesy would go a loooooong way and prevent many ills of the EE.
One thing I can't stand, when you see an item posted with no replys such as "ill take it" or similar and decide you will take it.
You send a PM and post you will take it only to find somebody snagged it 2 hours prior.
If you have an interest or are going to take it post as such in the original post.
The most important thing to be learned from those who demand "Equality For All" is that all are not equal...

Had a noob PM/Txt me asking if my item was still available. He said he was in Vail and could do a FtF if it was. I replied promptly that it was available via PM and Txt.
Not another peep from the guy.
Is that rude? Yeah, it is, in my opinion. But I don't think it deserves negative feedback.
