IIRC. The EE rules does not have a "common Courtesy" clause
    Then they need one damnit

It would have been a courtesy but that doesn't seem popular anymore

    This.
IMHO without a given commitment such as "I will take it" then yes, the N feedback is not appropriate.

I will agree a touch of decency and courtesy would go a loooooong way and prevent many ills of the EE.

One thing I can't stand, when you see an item posted with no replys such as "ill take it" or similar and decide you will take it.
You send a PM and post you will take it only to find somebody snagged it 2 hours prior.
If you have an interest or are going to take it post as such in the original post.

Had a noob PM/Txt me asking if my item was still available. He said he was in Vail and could do a FtF if it was. I replied promptly that it was available via PM and Txt.

Not another peep from the guy.

Is that rude? Yeah, it is, in my opinion. But I don't think it deserves negative feedback.

You should probably look at your own PM box and i bet you find a commitment to purchase then an excuse to back out in there.
i hardly think a noobie not wanting to wait 2 weeks and not bothering to respond is worth negative feedback.

Sometimes its better to let it go.
