Firearm Safety Classes In Boulder?

I have a customer who's kid is interested in firearms. Dad isn't but wants to start the kid out right. Not looking for hunting or CCW classes, just an all around safety class. I pointed him toward the Boulder Gun Club as they have an active youth program but not sure if you have to be a member.

Who offers what in the Boulder area?

Not sure what the rules are now but it used to be (10 years ago) that the BRC youth program was open to all youth and even gave them an inside track to membership when they turned 18.

Check out your local 4H programs (start at the county extension office), they have an excellent youth shooting sports program.
