I had the same thing, sort of, happen to me a few years back, except it wasn't a surface street, it was 6th Ave EB just passed I-25! I had to cut someone off and laid on the horn getting out of his way, then called 911 and reported the accident that literally happened as I was on the phone with the dispatcher. Some people's kids.
