The proper foam cores and paint are the tough parts to secure, but external (wood) and internal (mdf) frames would be easy. The internal frames are just covered with cloth. They sell like hotcakes on e-bay.

The folding shooting bench was first thing that came to my mind, but I also like the idea of the gunsmith bench blocks.
