I hear what you're saying, and I too would love to find a CX4 or USC or even Kel-tec Sub2000 in 10mm. But in the mean time the Mech Tech strikes me as a good force multiplier. I could see instead of having a truck pistol in 1 location and a rifle in another, I could instead use a G20 as the pistol, and pop the Mech Tech on if I needed longer range and/or more power. Hmmmmm.![]()
Does anyone have any facts on the legality of these conversion kits and swapping back and forth from pistol to rife and back to pistol ? A while back I was thinking about one of the 1911 conversion kits, and upping it to .45 Super.
Wouldn't this be the same as taking an AR pistol, making it a rifle, then converting it back to a pistol ? As I understand, this is a big problem as far as the ATF is concerned. But I could be wrong, it wouldn't be the first time.![]()
My T.P. wheeling and dealing feedback is here.
Opinions are like assholes, everybody has one, and it stinks more than mine.

Does anybody make a 10mm levergun, like Marlin, Winchester or Henry? Or do those require rimmed cartridges? I likes my .44mag Winnie.
I say lets all remove the warning labels and let nature take its course.
I'd love to have a Keltec Sub2000 10mm, but don't think this one could be done from a converted .40 or 9mm, as the magwell and mags used are too small. A .45 one could be converted, but to the best of my knowledge they don't make one. Perhaps a Ruger camp carbine in .45 could be converted. Hmmmmmm.......
What about Feather USA? They make dedicated 10 mm carbines: http://www.guns-rifles-firearms.com/index.html
