I watched Abbot and Costello meet the zombie the other day, it was a great old movie.
I picked up John Carpenter's The Thing on bluray at walmart for $8.
I like zombie movies that don't take themselves too seriously. Zombieland and the 2004 remake of Dawn of the Dead are a couple of my favorites.
Fido is my favorite zombie flick.
"There are no finger prints under water."
Fido was good. Much better than I expected.
There is a sequel to Quarantine called Flight of the Dead or sometihing like that. It was pretty good.
Mars is entirely inhabited by robots.
I watched "remains" last night it was decent, special effects were bad, but camera work was good, acting was OK, zombies not that scary and they sleep at night
Yes, Land is a Romero flick, IMHO it's the last great Romero "...of the Dead" movie- the one with the found footage sucked, and the most recent "Survival of the Dead" wasn't very good either... I guess age has caught up to him.
Some that I've seen:
Land of the Dead
Dead Snow- Nazi Zombies... need I say more?
The Doghouse- Hilarious and fun!
Some that look pretty entertaining that I want to check out:
Bloodlust Zombies- Alexis Texas is in it, can't be too bad...
Zombies Zombie Zombies- hot babes...
American Zombie- Mockumentary, looks pretty fun.
Stripperland- Looks funny
AVOID AT ALL COSTS:
Day of the Dead remake with Ving Rhames
Zombie Strippers with Jenna Jameson- campy and shitty acting, not very entertaining.
