We have had more than years past.

I am kind of sad, this is the first year that neither of my boys want to go out, they are 11 and 14.

I got way too much candy and there's not been many coming by. That's good for them, they get a handful of the good stuff.

I wonder if I had put up a Romney sign, would I have gotten more or less?

haven't had one in 15 years... think it has to do with the 1/4 mile long driveway, with scary dogs...

not sure if it scares them, or if it's just not worth the effort...

Standard for us. It's hard to walk house to house in the hills.

One of the nice things about a new neighborhood full of starter homes is that there are a ton of kids around. Our doorbell started ringing about 5:30. It's finally tapering off.

My two year old has the attention span of a fruit fly, so we were not sure how he would do with trick-or-treating. We walked up to one house. After that, it was all on daddy's shoulders. We only went to a dozen houses, but a cute 2 year old rakes in the candy. His Elmo bucket was full to over-flowing, and we were both ready to be done.

Once we got home, he has decided that he likes to open the door and pass out candy, but he keeps using his Elmo bucket instead of the candy bowl.
Math is tough. Let's go shopping!

We had 29 kids. My kids went out with the wife and were back by 7:30. I went through there candy and gave the undesirables to the kids that came to our house. At the end I was giving away big handfulls.
