    At first glance I thought he had butchered a nice rifle. Then I realized it was just a Ruger mini 14/30 and I was less disappointed or surprised.

    I wasnt necessarily hating on the Ruger. It's just at first glance I thought it was a M14/M1A that had been butchered. I was relieved to see that it was a much more common and less desirable piece.
