To think- if you did that, on your own private property, and hit that kid, killing his dog, you would be on the fast track to prison.
Ah, yes, but that's the difference between y'all and .gov!
The only purpose those devices could serve is to kill something.... what was the intent? What wildlife was the target? And why?
Pretty common actually. Predator control they call it. Any field that has them is supposed to have signs posted at any gated entrance and usda is supposed to notify locals by posting flyers, radio announcements, etc.
