This is what the Doc took out of her belly. That is a LARGE dog bowl...about 8" across on the bottom. Her belly is about the size of an average woman's fist. You do the math:

Yeah, we have a muzzle for her. She acts like she's been turned to stone when we put it on her. It may be the best option, though, especially considering where we live.

Also...my dogs are all too old for pet insurance. Tried that route.

Yep...just brought her home. She's comparing scars and vet war stories with the other dogs now.

ETA: I forgot to mention she pooped out another big lump of grass as soon as we got home. She had enough turf in her belly to cover a football field.

This is why grass needs to stay illegal.

Oh, it's the other type of grass. Never mind.

Glad to hear Lola is going to be okay.

I thought your title said a dog issue, not a mule issue. You know a mule, someone smuggling grass for the cartels.........

Glad to hear your pooch is better, even if it cost you so much.

This reminds me of when I had to take a dog I had in for surgery, it wasn't for grass, the dumb mutt managed to swallow a 3" piece of corn cob..... No comments Bert..
My T.P. wheeling and dealing feedback is here.
