stag model 7 opinions?

I have a stag gift certificate and i was thinking about cashing it in on a 6.8 SPC model 7. whats everyones opinion on stag or the 6.8 for that matter.

For the money Stag builds a great AR. I know nothing about their 6.8 though.

Stags are GTG but I also know nothing about their 6.8

i've read some bad reviews on the stag 6.8 out of the box like shooting 1.5-2 moa groups. looking at barrels though seems like i could get a decent barrel for not that much

Probably a result of the shooter or ammo and not the rifle... but then you can always get a lemon. Have you seen this on multiple reviews? My dad just bought the Model 7 and he says its a tack driver.

I have a Stag 2T and I've been very pleased with it.

My dad sent me a txt with this picture. He just sighted in his Stag model 7 with Hornady polymer tip and got some nice groups at 50 yards. The smaller groups towards the center are 3 rounds. This thing is shooting great and not even broke in.



So, did you end up using your gift card yet?

Have 2 Stags and they r GTG, don't have a 6.8 but I don't think a caliber effects quality.
