i have a 1/4 mile long driveway, and locked gates. i have never had anyone make the trek. good thing for them.

I never chastise the kids that are selling for the high school or girl scouts but I do take issue when I see a white van with Indiana plates hit the hood and 8 teenagers fall out selling magazines.

I CANNOT STAND these fuckers. The last one that came to my door I ended calling the police because they kept trying to invite themselves in, "can I use your phone, can I get a drink, can I use the restroom?" I told him I was not interested and for him not to knock on my door again. He then thought he could hang around the complex and bother people coming home from work. He as a 2 bit crack head with a crumpled up piece of paper that he kept trying to hand me.

I have a "No Soliciting" sign on my front door. When some inconsiderate ass leaves a hand bill I try to catch up with them and politely tell them: "I do not leave trash on your door, please do not do the same to me"
Usually works ok.
Who was he representing? Coming through a door is inappropriate, I would contact whomever he was representing and advise them of his actions.

Agreed 100%. Also, I always have one of my handguns on me (Kimber .45 or Glock 23) depending on the day, but even at home I always have it on my hip. I may be paranoid, but guess it's better to be prepared than not to.
