no I had gift cards to burn. that was the only reason I went to that store. I know it is crappy store...but when I have gift cards I will not waste them. still got some primers at least.

update: still nothing from their management or my complaints. maybe they know they are on the way out?

Do your gift cards have an expiration date?

these ones did, they were from a pheasants forever promotion so I needed to get them used.

update: store manager called, apologized, honored the price and gave me a free gift card so I went and got a box of .300 win mag for free. still won't be going back, especially with cabelas opening up soon.
So at least they followed through, probably only because someone from corporate came down hard on them. end of the day they should have honored the price, especially when 3 different employees knew of the situation.

I knew I was done with gander when I saw 30 cal projectiles for $40. I drove to bass pro and got them for $25. My favorite was still the $600 used glock 21 with peeling grip tape and looked as though it had been run over a few times.

Gander is simply horrible. I spoke to a moron behind the gun counter once. I just walked out. No customers were there, he blew me off, when he answered my question he tried to fake gun knowledge and gave me complete BS... Ya, I ask a lot of questions I already know the answer. It's an old cop habit.

You know where the two guys that work at Gander (yes, they get employee discount) and live in Parker buy their ammo at? I do, and it isn't Gander.
Mom's comin' 'round to put it back the way it ought to be.

I only go there to take a GANDER. Sadly have never been able to afford their prices.

Surprizingly, the firearm I got was comparable, if not cheaper than most of the "out-of-stock" listings I was watching.
