That doesn't seem too bad. IMHO, you'd be better off with NVGs (depending on what your need is). Both have pros and cons.

I use a FLIR video camera from time to time at work. It's pretty cool. I don't really know much about it other than it's a cool toy and it pretty much looks like any other hand held video camera.
