Default Obama lovers destroying yard signs

My dad lives in Monument and has a 5 acre property where he posted Romney signs along the road. For the last couple days he has been finding trash and dumped in his yard apparently done in the middle of the night. Well just after sundown yesterday a neighbor knocked on his door and said that she just saw three people walking along the road who removed his signs and destroyed them. My father thanked the lady and drove up the road to confront them. He described them as three Hispanic females in their 20s. One still had ripped plastic in her hand. He yelled at them and told them that they had no right on his property. He also said those signs are a symbol of why Romney needs to win because people like you are an example of what is wrong with the Obama supporters. He also gave them some words about trespassing.

Either way my fellow members I know this is experience is minor but it shows some very brazen behavior. What is going to happen if Clown shoes Obama loses? Are we going to have moments in some areas of the country where houses are burnt to the ground and people are dragged from their cars and beaten just for being white? What is going to happen if Clown shoes wins? I don't see this country civilly staying together for the next 4 years with him in power. Either way all of you be safe today.

Petty vandalism, especially regarding political signs, has been around for decades. Obama didn't bring a rise to this. I'm sure there are conservatives doing the same thing in other parts of the country. There is scum all throughout the populace, it's not just relegated to any one political party.

Sorry to hear about your dad's stuff, but it would be getting tossed out this week regardless. Furthermore, I would dare you to find someone who can legitimately say their political opinion was swayed by a yard sign.

None of what you said has any relevance to what happened to him. So what they're getting tossed at the end of the week. What about them remaining in his yard so that he has the choice at the end of the week.
I don't put a yard sign in the yard to attempt to sway anyone's opinion or vote. The vandals/felons or whatever they are should not step foot on my property to do their dirty deeds.

Once again the party of 'tolerance' shows their true colors by attacking any sign that disagrees with their stance.

Neither trespassing nor vandalism is a felony. And again, conservatives are doing it as well. So it's not this bullshit "party of tolerance" you just made up. Unless you are now suggesting that the Democratic party is entirely made up of Muslims.

Yes minor vandalism on the signs, however they should not be trespassing in his yard or dumping trash. He doesn't go into their yard or destroy their property. My intent with this post was to encourage everyone to be vigilant for the near future.

It all boils down to respect.
As long as the signs were on his property it is destruction of private property.

Yup, the "Party of Tolerance" is a wonderful thing unless you disagree with them.

I may walk around and collect a bunch of surplus signs tonight after 7:00. They do make good target holders.

There has been a greater amount of Democratic vandalism for some time. Its an old fact.

Recall that we've seen plenty of fake "GOP" vandalism such as the vandalism of the DNC office in Denver during the convention that turned out to be a Democratic "transgendered" volunteer.

And don't forget all of the union thuggish behavior aimed at TEA Party people, while the TEA Party was being falsely accused of violence by the media.

Father is 68 years old , retired law enforcement, very conservative and yes made him very upset. Yard signs are minor but its the point of violating someone's space. I worry for him a bit what if these bozos decide to esculate their harrassment? Either I think he could handle his own regardless he just should not have the stress.
