My Feedback
good thing criminals can read and really care about those signs, otherwise, who knows what could happen![]()
Fucking bullshit. Any specific incident that provoked them to post?
Employee's can't carry no matter what, but the signs outside say no 'open carry'. So citizens walking in with a CCW is no problem, but an employee can't carry at all. That's the only thing about my job I don't like. I even asked about carrying inside the building and locking up my firearm in the safe they have next to the guard desk, no-go.
"I'd rather be a disabled Vet, than no Vet at all"
I thought that's the way the law read
if you prohibit open carry you have to provide a locked place for people to put their firearms.

"I am free, no matter what rules surround me. If I find them tolerable, I tolerate them; if I find them too obnoxious, I break them. I am free because I know that I alone am morally responsible for everything I do."
Kwando, we got our new "free kill zone" signs about a month ago. Apparently Charlie is feeling a little threatened. He also got his Beemer keyed in the Meridian parking lot. The guy has pretty much lost his mind, and he is proud that he had a successful fund-raiser for Hillary.
...and they wonder why I won't contribute to the PAC.
Those signs are the usual product of liberal thinking. But don't worry, we have badge access at the facilities. We'd never have an employee snap...because of the signs...right?
Liberals never met a slippery slope they didn't grease.

I wish technology solved people issues. It seems to just reveal them.

A few years ago, we had a shooting happen a couple of blocks away (Downtown area). The perp ran into our building with the firearm in his backpack, stashed it behind a recycle bin outside our office and walked around the building for a bit. He was caught and the bag recovered later in the day. We now have tighter security (as in limited building access), but if someone walks in with a firearm in their backpack, security doesn't check bags. I work for the City of Colo Spgs and am not allowed to carry on City property, even with my CCW.
"I'd rather be a disabled Vet, than no Vet at all"
Yeah, but not checking backpacks is kinda moot too. I mean I have carried in there many time just on the hip under a shirt. They have never spotted or checked me ever. Not security, not the cops, nobody there. I still laugh every time I think about some of this cities policies on CCW. Let everyone except our own people???Come on. Karl.
I think it is time for me to put up some stickers at my shop. I was thinking something along the lines of "All employees and customers may be armed if you have bad intentions you will be shot!"
Maybe some of you more creative folks can come up with a design and I will have the stickers made and post them.
