1 hour wait on Background?!?!

I am at a local pawnshop trying to buy a cheap shotty and the counter guy told me to hang out or come back in an hour because they are backed up already. Can one our in house vendor confirm this?! 1 hour CBI waiting time already?

1 hour sounds typical as of late. Id say it hasnt started to begin, if it was 3-5 hours on a Wednesday and not the first or last day of the month, Id say its pretty good.

i have never bought a gun (since the insta check system), where the background took less than an hour. no matter what, its always at least an hour. morning, midday, evening, weekends, weekdays. always at least an hour.

they tell me that some happen in 10 minutes, but never me.

Typically in the weekdays morning, 20-30min at the most.
