What a pissant! Sorry to hear that.

I have zero experience with smiths in town so I don't know what to say.
You could try giving Jensen's a call and see if they have a reccomendation.

    Welcome to CO and FC!

I talked to Jensens and the recommended him. When I went there I told him that I would have the bolt stripped for him and all he would have to do is slip in a No go gauge and he said it would cost around $25!!!

he then went on to say that my rifle was junk and that it wasn't a M14, that it was a M1A and the chinese make junk and that it wasn't a opinion it was a FACT!

I guess he is just a "Fudd"

Why not just buy the no go gauge yourself and do it for free? Just a thought.

Just thought I could get it done for like 5 bucks or something. If I remember correctly my 30-06 gauges were about $50.

Just trying to save some money in the short time with moving and all.
