Well...from all the replies, I agree and probably would've flipped him the bird too. That being said, If I'm still in my driveway and he would've approached my car then I would've reminded him to get the hell off my lawn and any acts of violence from him would be construed as an attempt on my life and result with life or death consequences. Now, that being said, if I were in the middle of a city street, I would stay in my car and yell in a loud voice, "GET AWAY FROM MY CAR!" over and over until he got the point. Getting out of the car is a bad idea and can escalate things which might result in you having to explain yourself before a judge. I do feel your pain and how frustrating it is when these jack-a-loons are the one's at fault and just can't seem to give a friendly "Sorry" wave and drive off. I have a tendency to throw the bird from time to time for those who rightfully deserve it, but I know carrying a firearm 99% of the time comes with the responsibility of holding myself to a higher standard. Often in cases like that, I find myself gripping my steering wheel and just shouting: "WHAT...THE...F**K...ARE...YOU...DOING?!" followed by a deep breath and continuing with my day.

I wasn't there but here is my .02 cents worth. If he called you out you would have been in the right for beating him up. And most likely charges wouldn't have been filed or the case would have been dismissed. Worse case scenario would have been he windmilled the shit out of you and it would have been the most embarrassing fight of your life. Euro trash has been pretty much neutered since WWII.

That he wanted to kick your butt. However, staying in the car when someone says that to you isn't a good place to be in a fight. So you might want to get out and ask him to repeat it.
