Careful. Mick makes it clear, both on the website and via email to his distro list, that the final decision for match continuation or cancellation is made on the range at time of setup. Sure, maybe he could come up with a way to post to the forum or send an email from the parking lot of the range, but he makes it clear what the policy is. Not the most convenient, but it is what it is.

The lesson here is, show up @ 0700 for setup, save money on the match fee, and especially during this time of year, miss the skier traffic. Match gets canceled, If you are a member of the club, you may as well stick around a do some shooting anyhow, and us non members would greatly appreciate being kept around as your guest for a few hours. 4-5 people can have a lot of fun making up stages to shoot.

I wasn't aware waiting for some more members was an option.

I got there at 7, and I know Mick's plan was to stick around until around 8 to make sure someone was there to meet the new shooters. I did ask whether he could update everyone with cancellations from his phone. I would've posted something here if I had thought to...

Key word here is guest. Range club members decision if they want to bring in one of us as a "Guest" to shoot with them.
