I'm a fan of the spear for the distance it allows alone.

I'd prefer distance, but I don't think a spear will do much to a zombie. I want something that'll separate the head from the torso quickly, so my vote is

    or

ID:	15195 This is what I have Its the 2 handed kukiri by cold steel It has good reach and you can put a pretty good edge on it. I would stay away from swords and other skilled type weapons unless your a ninja, or knight or something you cant just pick up a sword and start swinging it around and expect to be effective

Buckshotbarlow, I like the mace and the flail you have shown. The mace for pygmy zombies and the flail for the bigger ones.

Cold Steel is pretty awesome and I think they have great prices. I bought a couple things from them and they are in general great and I have no reservations about chopping the hell out of stuff with them. I think that I am going to follow teufelhund's lead and say that all of them will be a last resort kinda thing for zombie slaying. I think that there are multiple cases of people contracting aids through blood contact with the eyes. So maybe we should all get tactical goggles as well.

From Czech republic in high school I have nearly the exact mace in the middle. The morning star or anything on a chain I'd say is no go.

Echoing others, axe or better big and blunt would be much easier. Maybe instead of bio fuel cars need bio fuel chainsaw eh eh?

Just passed on getting a sog tomahawk or cold steel similiar ax. Just couldn't justify a real use and didn't want to go down the road of the mall ninja or just weird dude that collects all kinda of gawdy cutlerly. If I could get real utility then maybe, kinda like having a single simple straight edged gerber etc is a nice EDC and useful for random little things. One of those axes in a car just potentially causes headaches with a overzealous cop.

Main concept here is ZOMBIES...So take in consideration that you have to carry the damn thing and can use it for something else!

I'm really thinking this one over (more java errors):
