The Great Kazoo's Feedback
"when you're happy you enjoy the melody but, when you're broken you understand the lyrics".
I wonder, on July 2, which phrase, among gun owners in CO will be more common:
A) "wow, I wish I hadn't bought so many magazines that hold more than 15rds."
B) "wow, I wish I had bought a few more magazines that hold more than 15rds."
Have you personally ever carried 10 loaded AR mags on you?
...it's like 16-18lbs of magazines...
Absolute waste...where are you going to put them all? Double mag pouches everywhere? + battle belt + drop leg???
I run 4 AR mags...3 pistol mags, hydration carrier, blow out kit, and that's about it....
looking at about 2lbs of empty plate carrier, maybe less, 1.2lbs'ish per AR mag, dunno what my M&P mags weigh, 15lbs or so for the plates, water is what? 5-6lbs/gallon?
I couldn't imagine running 10 AR mags on any given rig....just not feasible.
7 (1 loaded) on my deployment set-up was hell enough..plus you toss in frags, smoke, flashbangs, main chute, reserve chute, med kit, IFAK, CPP, radio, helmet, nods, etc....
We're on the same page NightCat.
I'm thinking that even if these lib retards are successful...nobody has to know how many "hi cap" mags I have in my safe,*or other undisclosed locations* for when the world goes to shit. If I have to buy some 15 rd mags so that I can shoot at the range and keep the limp wristed fagetties happy, so be it. Having purchased or owning several 30 rd for multiple platforms is peace of mind in my opinion.
Nope. I normally carry 6 + 1, sometimes have an extra mag or two in my ruck depending on the situation. I know how heavy they are, but they're usually the lightest thing I have to carry due to the nature of my job. If I wasn't carrying all the other extra stuff I normally do, I would probably carry a few more mags somewhere.

Girlscouts? Hmmm, I don't know... I think it's kinda dangerous to teach young girls self esteem and leadership skills.
