I thought magazines are what you store ammunition in. If you have 300 rounds, you need 10, 30 round magazines. Math isn't my strong suit, but that formula normally works. At some point, in some calibers, the ammo that I haven't bought magazines for will have to sit in ammo cans, till I can afford more magazines
