So we're left dysfunctional since Pelosi and Reid and Obama have been in crazy land for over six years and show no signs of returning while the GOP can't seem to get a coherent message across despite having the facts, economic logic, Constitutional reason and history on its side? About the only true statement I've seen from you since your recent burst of posting.

Ronin, I had no expectations I would get a response. Just more side stepping. You know how they operate by now.
Yeah, but call me foolish for holding out hope in some people to actually come up with a reasonable response to a question... My brother is still waiting for one of his friends to answer his plain, honest question "Why did you vote for Obama?" Modified from "Why are you voting for Obama?" that he asked 6 months ago...

There is no answer to that question why they voted for Obama. I have not gotten an answer with out some loud mouth response about "Obama Won".

I got that training. Decided it was worthless.... I've thrown out the teachings I got from there.

I like how those who are right of center are always the ones who won't compromise, who are causing the problems. I'm still trying to figure out how someone can be a gun owners AND support the Democrats. Unless you consider gang-bangers gun owners.

And I agree with Ginsue - all we can do is try to limit the damage, but I have a feeling that he will do what he wants by executive order (otherwise known as "decree").

I have been one of those people that looks at all sides of an issue and then go for the informed decision. The past two Presidential elections were won and lost based on some seriously bad decisions. Gun control and the boogey men coming to take away our guns were not even in the equation, other than rhetoric that had little or no force behind it.

2008 Presidential race: Republicans Lost, why McCain who had a serious honest to God shot at winning the whole thing picked the one person that after people got past the pretty realized had no place at all in the line of succession to Presidency. One heart attack or determined fanatic later, we have a real problem. The country recognized this and voted for the lesser of two evils.

2012 Presidential race: Republicans lost, why ...well you go serious Tea Party extremist and any woman or minority that votes for that is an idiot, because it sets anything they are doing back 20, 30 maybe even 40 years. There is a level of acceptance that the Republican party as a whole has to look at. There are serious separation of church and state issues they need to evaluate.

My point: You can be Pro-Life, but you do not put legislature to tell people what they can't do. You educate people on the consequences of birth control, abortion and stop trying to dictate laws.
Homosexuals, guess what they are there, if you don't like it ...free country, still is. They live here, they die in our wars, they pay their taxes and most of them want to be left alone, just like the rest of us. Women want to be treated as equals, guess what treat them that way and surprise. Illegal Immigrants/Legal Immigrants, this country is full of them has been for about 250 years, they aren't going anywhere for better or worse, work with them in the system or remove them and all of their families and supporters from the system. One of these approaches will work, one will make us no better than USSR under Stalin.

The Republican party needs to focus on what is truly relevant and not on what is already history. They need to accept what has happened and focus on the things that always made the party strong. A sound fiscal policy that was tempered with the needs of the people, while recognizing they may not agree with all of the people, but those same people are the melting pot that is the United States of America. When they swing back into a more Reaganesque view of this country and approach ALL people of this country with that same heart and compassion they will not only win an election they will have found something that will stand up to the test of time. We are strong when we work toward a common goal, not bicker like children about things that are not going to change and in many cases nor should they.

Well said, sir. That's a republican party I could easily support.
