You are right they were just waiting for the right time to attack it. Well its not perfect since it wasn't a white man shooting a black man in self defence. But it was close enough since the President stuck his nose in it.
I think the left wing jack asses biggest problem with it is, it reclaims the power to the person and takes it out of the hands of the government. Which by the way wasn't there and has to responsibility to defend anyone.
